Gaming Issues

I have installed RC1 on a computer and now a bunch of games won't install. Is the compatability problem going to be resolved when Vista go final, or will I be better off running XP?

The main game I want to install right now is Command and Conquer Generals, and the Zero Hour expansion.

Because of that problem I don't know about installing Halo, Galactic Civilizations, and others that I like.
