Since I installed SP1 (RTM), none of my XP boxes can access Vista shares (denied) previously shared without incident. The printer on the Vista box IS accessible. Permissions are set to full and network is set to private. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi, have you tried changing to a 'public network'?

why would i do that? public networks are even more restrictive.

hehehe...i know. sometimes anything might help. i sort of resolved it by adding "Everyone" with full priveledges in the security tab. vista does not see any of my pcs when i try to add an object so something's awry.
