itunes has stopped working, tried everything, help!

Hello,

I have a new computer with vista on it, and my itunes was working for a while, and now its stopped. When I load it it says "itunes has stopped working"

I have tried EVERYTHING. I have installed and uninstalled, downloaded special extra uninstalling software. Done everything possible. Tried everything I read on the itunes site etc.

Installed updates etc.

Please help! If anyone has any ideas.

Please list computer spec.
Oh and have you tried running anti-spyware or anti-virus?

I have run everything under the sun, my computer is squeaky clean.

Windows vista home premium
Hp pavillion dv2500 notebook pc
2.6 windows exp index
AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 TL-58 1.90GHz
Memory RAM: 1983 MB
32 bit op sys
