hp psc 1215
hi
im running windows vista home basic and i have a hp psc 1215 it prints ok and copys ok but it wont scan ive tried scanning with paint and windows photo gallery but these dont work
anybody any ideas

Hi, check out this page here regarding your hardware:
HP Printers*-* Installing the Printer Driver Located in Windows Vista*
If you scroll down you will notice it says scanning in 'paint & Window Fax' only works with Ultimate and Business versions of Vista. You might be able to use the photo gallery to scan though?
