Microsoft Again Delays Windows XP SP3 Release (InformationWeek)
Microsoft is holding up the software update's release, this time after finding a compatibility issue with an electronic checkout system for retailers.

I think I've experienced this problem online. XP can't read Vista or a completed transaction registers with everybody but the retailer.
