| Adding additional Vista laptop to wireless network I have a friend staying with me for a few days and have been trying to get her laptop (Vista) connected to my wireless network. I also have a Vista laptop and no problems with it. On her laptop, I was able to see my network and connect, but it continues to say "Connected with Limited Connectivity". I have turned her Windows firewall off, rebooted, and still no action. I don't want to make any major changes to her laptop or mine, where either one of us will have problems when she goes back home. Any help would be appreciated. Talk to me simple; I'm a blonde. Thanks! |

| Re: Adding additional Vista laptop to wireless network I'm no expert but it sounds like her laptop is not receiving the ping from your wireless router. Mke sure her system is set up to automatically retrieve the addresses from your system |
