I have installed RC1 on my notebook and everything seems to be running fine except for the sound. i've tried to use external speakers but they don't seem to work either. I've un-installed/re-installed the driver.. No Joy. I've even gone so far as to re-install RC1. So, is there anyone out here that has had a similar situation and has a solution?? thanks

Oh.. I am running a Gateway 7320.. thought that might be helpful.

After hours of trial and error, I finally found a driver that works with my new installation.. I used a conexant driver for win2k! works fine now... thanks for the thoughts anyway.
