I have a problem with my audio using the YM chatrooms. The audio is not working, i.e. I can't hear/speak anything. This is the message I get "The Audio Compression Format is not supported with this computer."

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi!!! This is a fix for Vista, If your using another type OS the solution is a little different. You'll have to check to see if you're up to date on the latest version of Yahoo Messenger- either 8.1.0.421 or the 9.0.0.922 Beta for this solution to work. This site that I'm giving you, can update you and install the codec necessary for Vista. Yep! I'm using Vista Home Premium, YM version 9.0 beta. Didn't have a problem with my XP before. I just got it fixed and I sincerely appreciate your help.
