Microsoftsays Vista crashes less often now - VR-Zone IT & Lifestyle Forum!

I know my rig doesn't crash anywhere near as much as it used to..

XP's main problem is that it does not have integrity checks integrated into the OS. NTFS drive still gets fragmented. Over years of use, an XP system can slow to a crawl. Vista automatically takes care of these things to a great extent if you leave your computer on. Thats reason enough for me to justify a large deployment, but I believe many people feel intimidated by working with a system that looks different.

The main issue for me is the Nvidia drivers, which still crash when using DreamScene. Other than that, I no longer have problems with random crashes.
