    I am in huge trouble. I went to reinstall Windows 7 RC1. No go. It will not get past Expanding Windows files. Been there 3 times so far. It's always installed before. Doing clean install only.

    Sorry to bother you. I've had enough, I keep getting a 1316 error code (a network error occurred when reading from a file Windows Installer HP Active Support Library. Consult (msi.chm) or MSDN info. Apparently it's just the HP Active Support Library as I do get other downloads from HP without problem.     Thanks for the response.The Ask thing was a jeeves search bar but it uninstalls OK,used the private mail cos didn't want to upset Jeeves if they were sponsoring the App. I now have two free reg cleaners which both work and if you run one after the other they still find umpteen pages of cack to remove. Still, better than none at all. Thanks again. Douglas

Well it's not long now before the next round of releases by AMD and Nvidia. It only seems a few weeks ago since they last released the latest flavour (actually for Nvidia it 'was' only a few weeks ago!)
Tech forums are grabbing all the 'fud' they can to be able to bring you and I any snippet of news on the new technology... I've included just two of many:
