New socket for AMD
As the title suggests a report in Dailytech reveal AMDs plans for a new socket which will herald the start of DDR3 and 8-12 core processors! More info' is here:
DailyTech - Hello AMD Socket G34

The only thing is though, software is only 'just' starting to utilise two cores let alone 12...Thoughts anyone?

Humm,
I bet this would be a lot of fun to have. But, your right what the heck would you use it for yet anyway. But, if the support were there it would be totally awsome to use. I can see the Speedfan readings now!!!!!
