My specs are in my Sig for the one on the right. The one on the left is about 6 years old... P4 OC'ed @ 3.8Ghz w/2Gb ram Win XP pro,
onboard video and sound

LOL dont feel bad my wife dropped mine like 2 day's after this picture was taken, and it nolonger works.

But on the bright side I did buy a better one. I went from a fuji fine pix 3800 to a fine pix S5200 and it is sweeet!

Looks Good to me.. how ya like that Q6600? I put one in my wife's PC when I built it a month or so ago I like it. You can OC the crap out of it

Thanks guys......Q6600 is good Fatboy...great for overclocking....not as quick as the Core 2 Duo E8500 Penryn chip but I'm willing to sacrifice a little speed in the short term for the benefits in performance boost when multithread apps are more available.
Who knows what will be around later this year/ early next year???

I was very tempted by the Q6600 and in fact if I was going swop over to an Intel build thats the chip I'd probably get.

I like it for the $ it's not a bad chip. It's cheaper than mine. The price of mine has gone up $15.00 from what I paid for it over a year ago

But the price of my ram has fell $400

RAM is so cheap at the moment, unless it's DDR3, I'm hoping the DDR2 prices stay this way untill at least the end of the year! Then I'll get some fast Corsair or OCz, both of which I've currently got in this rig... Which I'm going to give to my pop. He retires this year and so will have plenty of time on his hands, so when I build the new one, he'll get this one (he's not yet got into these 'bloody box of flashy lights and tricks'!.) I'll also be teaching him how to use it, at arms length of course, he's still a feisty bugger!
