Exclamation Word Up Peeps ( Hello)
So what's up with you Users & Admin.,

Hmmmm..........so what's the peeps with you Window Users
on how you like your new Windows Vista?! I just got my
my new laptop/notebook that came w/ Windows Vista
Home Premium. The one thing that's wierd about it, that it
never came with the Windows Vista Home Premium Back-
Up Disc or Discs. Kind of sceptical wether I bought some-
thing worth my time or just another waste of my money?!
It's a HP/Compaq Presario 756NR w/ AMD 64x2 Turion Mobile
Technology,nVIDIA Graphics and Wifi Certified Atheros 5007
which is wireless with a built in on/off switch, which to me
is a benefit. So, I can manually turn it off when the need is
there. Watching DVD Movies is Off the Hook (The Ultimate)
by HP QuickPlay. This program does not glitch or stutter not
unless if the battery is low or if you got another program
going on with alot memory to use, then it will interfere with
memory used for this specific program. One problem I have,
that, If someone is from a Remote DeskTop like a Admin-
stators they can get in your program files and Rearranged
them to make you look CRAZY................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It
several times even when it's a Brand New M____F_____
laptop/notebook. Wait till I'll get a hold this NITWIT socalled
the Administrator, Only if you knew my TEMPER? But enough
of this MUMBO-JUMBO 'cause it's probably getting you down
and saying what the hell did you ever buy that piece of
crap that you've gotten RIPPED-OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Acronis disk image...
I installed Vista on an old 400Gb HD installed all the updates, SP1, all my drivers, software, etc. and activated it with MS.
Booted up with old drive and used Acronis disk Image to clone the 400Gb disk onto the new drive.
When it was finished, I set bios to boot off the new drive and disconnected the old one.
Now if I have a major issue I'll boot off the old 400Gb and clone it to the new one again.
No more activating Vista, no more installing a bunch of software and drivers, no more all night computer reformat and reinstall everything nights

Re: Word Up Peeps ( Hello)
Hi!! A word of warning about HP Laptops-Notebooks. They like to put a lot of high end software on it because it looks nice. Burns the you know what out of the battery. Set your power plan to power saver and the system will act slightly nuts. You might want to take off a few programs when traveling or you might find you have a dead battery before you get there. That is also a problem you might want to monitor, they used to stay awake when they weren't supposed to.... It's a simple enough problem to fix. Mine seems to play dead very well, about 5% every day and a half, without using. Bring a spare battery, adapter and a mini mouse (Antenna) A package set from HP (roomy bag, mini mouse, adapter) will set you back $100 US
