Hello all

My first post so here goes.
I'm a new member of the older generation able (I think) to hold my own in all things compter based.
However my recent change into Vista brought about by a mother board failure on my old faithfull Win. 98 machine leaves me with doubts about the so called advances brought about by Microsofts new creation.
Slow can only describe this with many older software items not able to run.
A recent problem has arrisen with my printer which has just lost it ability to report on ink levels and carry out alignment tasks. All because of Vista.
Lets hope the service pack will sort this.

Windows 98 is very old and antiquated. But most of all, it's unstable and all support for it stopped in 2006. It's good that you made THIS upgrade and probably a miracle that after 11 years your printer still works under Vista.
