Hmmm when I first installed Vista RC2 on my pc, I had issues with the OS It wouldnt load properly and it would keep on restarting my pc everytime it got to the login screen, so I had reformated my partion with windows vista RC2 installed, then I reinstalled vista on that partion......thus it's working great now except for a problem with wireless connection.....just reformat and reinstall Vista...It's as simple as that !

P.S Just don't reformat your whole HDD....or else you will lose XP.....(that's IF you've got XP installed
