Go to the Network and Sharing center, then manage wireless networks. Click on the network you are using and choose adapter properties. A small window will pop-up, click the sharing tab. Uncheck the top box that says 'Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection'. Then just click okay.
So far it's been 48 hours and I haven't had the problem of loosing connection.
