As for the "they just launch steam" part:

- Create a desktop shortcut of the Steam game.
- Right click on properties
- Copy the launch info (ends in -appiD blah or something like that)
- Change the Play option in Game Explorer to match


Without that -app flag the shortcut is just for steam. The number at the end of the flag represents the game EXE for steam.
