Hi and welcome, you don't say which utility your using for e-mail so I'll presume it's the default Vista client. Write your e-mail as normal and then when your ready to include your files/photo's look across the top of the e-mail box. You'll see a tab called 'Insert'. Click that and choose either file or photo, a box will open and you then browse to the item in question.(both will work but in slightly different ways, 'file' will attach the photo to the e-mail like an attachment, 'photo' will actually place the picture onto the e-mail)
